exodia Vs Graceful charity

lol, i know it's unlikely, but the question got raised to me by someone today.

say you have 3 pieces of exodia and you draw the other 2 by graceful charity, does exodia win the match before the final effect of charity to discard?

or would you have to discard parts of exodia before the effect got to kick in?

my thoughts were that exodia's effect would interject and take priority. but i may well be wrong.

I would say no becouse graceful charity has a cost wich must be payed and exodia need all 5 cards in your hand to get the win but cos you are paying a cost graceful must discard 2 cards to complite it effcet

You can't win a Duel halfway through resolving a card effect. You can win between Chain links, though.

Compare with Continuous effects, which cannot switch on halfway through a card effect but can switch on on between Chain links.

So no, you'd have to finish resolving "Graceful Charity" before checking to see if you've won.
