First off, a couple of my posts lately have not shown up at all. I was curious as to why this might have occured.

Secondly, what time zone is the time stamp on posts for? I posted something at 12:15 PM today (which didn't show up), but then after that, I realized the post I was responding to was posted at 12:27 PM today.

I don't think my computer can see the future, but if it can.........time to go look at stocks. I could use the money. Anyways though, the timestamp of the post I was responding to was 12 minutes in the future.

Are my posts being blocked for a reason? Or is it just a problem with my computer. I hope someone answers, if this even posts.
 
Well, at least one post I know of was deleted by a moderator, which is their discretion to do so if they feel it's a little on the spammy side. I wouldn't worry too much about that one. it happens from time to time. If your not doing it all the time, then it will be seldom mentioned to that member, just deleted. We really only warn folks when they consistently do it.

The time zones for the forums posts is controlled in your User CP under Edit Options. You probably still have yours set to the default settings, but it's entirely customizable to your locale.
 
I know one post that was deleted because it was nothing but spam. Any others, I have no clue what happened to them.

Stuff like "What he said" is considered to be spam since it adds nothing of value to the topic or the thread.
 
I kind of thought that one post might have been deleted. And that is the same post that was in the future of the other post....that is why I didn't see it as time stamped at 1:15 instead of 12:15.


I swear that about 2 weeks ago though that I had it set to Central. It somehow got switched back to Eastern. And I don't remember what else got deleted but I think it was one in the double win = double loss thread, right after ygo doc. I might be thinking I posted it there when really I posted it somewhere else.

And sorry bout that one post. You just beat me to the response by -12 minutes......lol.

EDIT: My settings are to central, but timestamps are still showing up in eastern. It was central when I went to change it. Any ideas on why its showing the wrong time zone?
