Game Boy's time numbered?

Do you think that with the new DS and the upcoming release of the Nintendo Revolution that the Game Boy will just kind of disappear, like the Game Boy Color? And, also, since the DS doesn't include "Game Boy" in its title, does this mean the end of the Game Boy series, stopping with the Game Boy Micro?

Now I'm not saying that this will happen in the near future, but eventually, like maybe next year or so, will we be looking back and saying "Ha, this magazine is so old; look, it still has an ad for the Game Boy Micro in it!"?
 
i dont think so. nintendo has made some very good games for the game boy that i don't see the gameboy dying out soon. i wuld say a few more years. then they're going to come out with new series of hand helds.
 
Other than that, you can't use the DS to play older games than GBA AND you CAN'T use any link/multiplayer options from the GBA games.

So I don't think that the Game Boy will Disappear because of the DS.
