Getting Facebook Connect to work.

Hey DJ,

How do I go about using facebook connect? I went ahead and logged out of CoG, then clicked the little banner to connect via Facebook. When asked for a nickname to used, I clicked the small link that said use an existing user name. I was prompted for my user credentials, I entered them, and I was logged in, but nothing else happened.

What am I missing?

But I'm still working on some things. You should no longer have to enter anything when you login here, if your logged into Facebook on the same computer.


Oh, go to your Facebook account right now if you haven't already noticed and look at your notifications.

Yeah, I find now that whenever I add a post that it asks if it wants me to publish that to Facebook AND I did see the notifications that people had responded to a post here. Pretty snazzy!!!
 
Your getting the post to Facebook options? Durn, I haven't been. I don't think it's a Usergroup Permission setting. <Runs back to AdminCP>
 
One thing its supposed to do is automatically befriend anyone who logs in who is already a friend of yours on Facebook. But so far, I was already friends here with those of you who've logged in, and I can't get KrazyKidPSX or Swartzstrom to go and test it for me. I haven't tried to harras John yet.
