Giving your opponent Germs

If I creature swap my giant germ for an opponents monster and then attack, will my opponent take the 500 damage? I can't work out if the text has the effect activating in the graveyard or when it it attacked.

"Giant Germ" is a Graveyard effect, so it will go to the original owner's Graveyard, and will inflict 500 damage to the non-original owner.

Giant Germ is a graveyard effect, just like Nimble Momonga. Your opponent will take the damage.

I preffer "Nimble Momonga" over "Giant Germ" on my Skill Drain Deck. But thats just me . To each his own.

Jowgen and "Final Countdown"? It might work. But Jowgen is really for "Last Turn" deck.

u could use a Skill Drain in a Last Turn deck
pros:Skill Drain helps lower lp so that way last goes off faster
Last Turn kills everything so Skill Drain dies
cons:Skill Drain eliminates effects so thats bad

hmm.. i might use that in my Last Turn deck.

When I ran a Skill Drain, I ran Ultimate Obedient Fiend along with Giant Orcs and Spear Dragons.

Yes. Pretty much any monster who's effect activates in the graveyard is a great combo for Creature Swap. Newdoria, elemental searchers, Sangan, recursive monsters like Giant Germ, Nimble Momonga, Hyena, Bubonic Vermin, etc.

Just remember that Newdoria's effect is mandatory, so if you swap your Newdoria and kill it and you are the only one with monsters left on the field...you have to take out one of your own with Newdoria's effect. So swap him carefully
