Indeed. Just this past weekend I had to explain this, and how if it tagged out of battle as soon as the battle was over, the new monster would come in both activating its effect, AND still be able to attack, AND still be able to tag out. Infinite cycle if your opponent can't stop you. It was done the way it is for a reason.
