ok here's the question: since Gravekeeper's Retribution is dealing 100 for every monster out of play, if I have Dark Room of Nightmare on my field too, would my opponent take a straight 300 along with the damage from every monster out of play, or would they take 300 for each monster out of play?

Dark Room of Nightmare will inflict 300 damage (total) no matter how many monster are removed from play.
Dark Room of Nightmare is one of those cars that inflicts damage per "lump sum" of effect damage inflicted by a single card effect. Since Graverobber's Retribution is a single source of damage, it triggers Dark Room of Nightmare only once, each time it triggers at the Standby Phase. Two Graverobber's Retributions, on the other hand, are two sources of damage and would trigger Dark Room of Nightmare for each GR doing damage. And so on and so forth.
