I was just recommended here earlier today by a friend, and must say - I've already received better reception than I'd started growing accostomed to ... erm ... elsewhere.

My first post was my latest deck - a new take on those pesky Gadgets we all are learning to 'love to hate'. Its called New w/ different view... - hope ya'll like it.

yeah i love to hate gadgets. they beat my water deck in a tourney yesterday. But yeah welcome. I assume you mean places like pojo when you say elsewhere. Too many people there just like to mess or give out. Its like that in most places but not here.

Welcome here :) We don't have Gadget deck's here yet, but I'm sure that someone will put one together sooner or later. I just hope, that my deck will be able to take it out :D

Welcome, glad that you're contributing! Let us know how we can help. If you have any questions please post them to the appropriate forum and I think you'll find a very mature, helpful, and knowledgable membership will respond.

Looking around a bit - I thought I'd add some personal stuff:

Name: Charles Wright
Age: 36
Location: Portland, ME
YuGiOh Exp: I've been into YuGiOh for about 1yr now thanx to my 10yr old. I got involved to help him learn to play and give him someone to play against reg. I'm hooked.
Other Interests: I'm a gamer at heart, and very much into MMOs, I play DAoC and plan to play Warhammer Online AKA W.A.R. I am also an OLD (no comments you comedians) fan of the Highlander CCG.

One last thing - thanx for the warm welcome and all the help thus far. I'm looking forward to a long and happy exp here.

Glad to see you're enjoying yourself. You've got quite a gamer's resume. That kind of experience will help you greatly with Yu-Gi-Oh!, but we're always here to help if any extra assistance is needed.

Glad to have you aboard Charles. You should feel right at home with COG, there are a lot of us who got involved through our kids and fell in love with the game. I believe that you will enjoy the maturity level here, of course most of are of a maturer age (I turn 40 this Sunday and am in no way the eldest). As Jathro said, with your variety of games, I look forward to seeing your insights in to the wonderous complexity which is Yugioh!

Enjoy!
