Guardian Grarl
Effect Monster (Dinosaur / EARTH / 5 Stars / ATK 2500 / DEF 1000)
This card can only be Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned when there is a "Gravity Axe - Grarl" on your side of the field. If this is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon it.
Gravity Axe - Grarl
Equip Spell
Increase the ATK of a monster equipped with this card by 500 points. As long as this card remains on the field, monsters on your opponent's side of the field cannot change their battle positions.
A very interesting mix here. With an ATK of 2500, "Guardian Grarl" can more than hold its own on the field. While their are easier beatsticks to get out, he can potentially be a good late game draw. As long as "Gravity Axe - Grarl" is on the field, you can special summon "Guardian Grarl" from your hand if it's the only card you have. Since it is a special summon (unlike "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight") you could normal summon a monster, equip it with the Gravity Axe, and then special summon Grarl.
"Gravity Axe - Grarl" gives a small ATK boost but more importantly a mini-"Thousand-Eyes Restrict" effect that only affects your opponent. While they can still attack, they cannot manually change the battle position of any monsters while you still have that flexibility.
All and all, Grarl is an interesting pairing. "Gravity Axe - Grarl" can be dropped into a deck for a surprise twist. "Guardian Grarl" would need his own deck to be effective (cause let's face it, Dinosaurs don't have much support"). But he is a solid beatstick and and provide an interesting surprise for your opponent.
