Homunculus vs. Skill Drain

HI guys,
i got another question for you. This time i`m messed up with Skill Drain and Homunculus the Alchemic Being. For example i changed Homunculus the Alchemic Being into Dark a turn before. Next round Skill Drain is activiated. Will Homunculus the Alchemic Being return to being Light or will it remain with Dark? In other words is the effect of Homunculus the Alchemic Being a condition (like Magical Scientist and his Fusionmonsters) or a effect similar to changing ATK/DEF (like Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast) ?
Thanks for reply!

Are you sure? Hmmm... I have a theory...

If Player1 activated Gear Golem the Moving Fortress's effect, then Skill Drain is later activated, does that stop Gear Golem from attacking directly this turn? No, it doesn't.

I think it would remain a Dark attribute.

Hehe, I'm just making myself look like an idiot again :D or am I? ;)
Thats differernt. You've paid for an effect that is going to apply later in the turn. It can't be turned off any more than you can Imperial a Last Will that has already resolved. It would return to a light.

well actually its like saying you will summon bls and use his effect then activate Skill Drain.

the monster gave himself a condition, that is completly different from all other effects.

nothing the effect of homunculus states that you can change the type of it if you want.

but once Skill Drain comes out the effect no longer applies, i dont think its a thing were itll remain that way for the rest of the game i could be wrong though.

stranger things have been known to happen.

To be honest, that makes perfect sense. That pretty much sums all of it. Thanks, Digital Jedi. :)
