Horus Black Flame Dragon (all levels but 8, confusing question)

Hey, situation is Horus black flame dragon level 6 attacks another 2300 attack monster, and both die. Monster reborn on horus the black flame dragon same turn. Does horus's level up effect work or does it goint to grave and being reborn negate the effect (note it did destroy the other monster in the process)

"As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, it is unaffected by any Spell Cards. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster as a result of battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" from your hand or Deck."

also in that case it would work for horus level 4 as well if it works for level 6

As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, control of this card cannot switch. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster as a result of battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" from your hand or Deck.

I believe you would not get the effect after MRing it. It went to the grave, which killed the effect. Once you Reborned it, it reset, and now you will have to destroy another monster again to be able to activate the second ability.

Don't quote me on this, as I seem to be misinterpretting alot of the rules lately with the new cards. It could very well work that way.

Once horus lv4 or lv6 leave the field any appropriate trggers for thier effect cease to be. in otherwords if you "reborned" it it's treated like a new monster that never fulfilled it's requirements. it "resets"
