Horus LV6 VS Monster Gate

If i control a face-up Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 on my side of the field, can i activate Monster Gate on it? If so what happens? Does Horus get sent the graveyard, or does it remain on the field and Monster Gate's effect resolves???

Also, if i only control Horus LV6, can my opponent or myself activate Creature Swap?

i believe that tributing a monster is a cost for Monster Gate, from what i saw in Monster Gate vs. Serial Spell, so you can use Monster Gate on Horus Lv. 6

EDIT: You may now activate Creature Swap if Horus LV6 is the only present monster, or if you have others. Just if you select Horus LV6, the entire effect of Creature Swap Disappears.
