Horus LVL 8 + continuous cards

hey there,

say if a continuous magic card like Heart of the underdog is played on the field before I summon horus the flame dragon lvl 8..

if i get horus on the field, can horus negate Heart of the underdog when it goes to activate on my oppenents next draw phase? Horus does say the activation, and every time my oppenent draws Heart of the underdog activates.. also same question to other cards (EX. Dark room of nightmare, Dark snake syndrome.. etc..)

From the UDE FAQ:
"You can chain the effect of "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" to the activation of a Continuous Spell Card, Field Spell Card, or Equip Spell Card and negate it. However, if the Continuous, Field, or Equip Spell Card is already active, you cannot later decide to try and negate its effect with "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8". You can only negate it when it is originally activated."

Based upon this info, I would say NO, you can't use "Horus LV8's" effect to negate the activation of "Heart of the Underdog".

Horus has the same effect timing of Magic Jammer, it may only negate spell cards when they are originally palaced or flipped face up on the field. So in this instance, Horus LV8 would be powerless to stop Heart of the Underdog.
