i just wonted to know;

he had 1 card face down (1 traps/spells) and a face-up Messenger of Peace and Infinite Cards

and he had about 16 cards in his hand

then at the start of a turn he did not pay for Messenger of Peace

played his have face-down Royal Decree

then played a Frog the Jam and 3 Thousand Energy, then A Legendary Ocean, then 3 Triangle Power, then played 3 Megamorph

know this is where he had some trouble is Frog the Jam attack 15000 or 38300

he won either way but i just wont to know

Sorry Deathjester, but your answer isn't quite correct.

Let's go through each step...

"Frog the Jam" starts off at 700 ATK and 500 DEF.
3 "Thousand Energies" are played.
"Frog the Jam" is now at 3700 ATK and 3500 DEF.
"A Legendary Ocean" is played, thus lowering the Level of "Frog the Jam" to Level 1.
"Frog the Jam" loses the bonuses from "Thousand Energy" since it is no longer a Level 2 monster.

If you have "A Legendary Ocean" reducing Level 3's to Level 2, and the effect of "Thousand Energy" is applied, and then "A Legendary Ocean" is destroyed, the levels are returned to Level 3, the ATK/DEF bonus from "Thousand Energy" is lost, and those monsters are not destroyed during the End Phase.

"Frog the Jam" now has 900 ATK and 500 DEF.
3 "Triangle Powers" are played.
"Frog the Jam" is now at 6900 ATK and 6500 DEF.
3 "Megamorphs" are played, which, is useless seeing as how more than one does nothing, as you so kindly pointed out via the ruling.

Now, here is where it gets tricky. "Megamorph" does not modify the Original ATK in any way, it simply creates a new ATK based off the Original ATK. The big question that needs to be answered here is whether or not the effect of "Triangle Power" will be reapplied after "Megamorph" resolves. I know that modifiers to regular ATK values like "Rush Recklessly" will be reapplied after "Megamorph" resolves, but "Triangle Power" looks at the Original ATK, which causes some issues.

So, that leaves us with 2 possibilities for the final ATK/DEF values...

1. If "Triangle Power" does not reapply, then "Frog the Jam" will either be at:
a.)550 ATK and 6500 DEF. (700 / 2 ("Megamorph") = 350 + 200 (from "ALO") = 550 ATK)
or
b.)1600 ATK and 6500 DEF. (700 x 2 ("Megamorph") = 1400 + 200 (from "ALO") = 1600 ATK)

2. If "Triangle Power" does get reapplied, then "Frog the Jam" will be at 6900 ATK and 6500 DEF because "Megamorph" does not modify the Original ATK (700), so "Triangle Power" will still go off that number for its effect.
