I'm soliciting ideas for what you'd like for the CotD for the next week or 2 or 3 or etc. Also, a few people have said they'd be willing to take a day or 2 to do the CotD (to help make my job easier... right John? :) ) So please feel free to ante up something good, because I feel like I already was stretching things with the "Guardian" week... esp. since there are only 6 Guardian / Weapon monsters (You'll love what I picked for the "7th" Guardian).

Perhaps it would be a good idea to watch the boards and try to do cards which are cropping up in current or highly debated discussion a good deal.

The hot topics right now seem to be Last Turn & Jowegen, End of Anubis, Pole Position....you get the idea. We might not be able to explain all the reasons for their rulings though! Acck!

Another idea would be to do weeks where cards do the same or have sim. effects. Bind Cards, RFP cards, Monster's that destroy monster with their effects, monsters that are uneffected by spell cards, traps that set up special conditions, etc. Often times players construct a deck with a certain card not realizing there are sim. cards that do the same or nearly the same thing but more effectively. This series might help that. The bad part about a series of reviews is that if you're not interested in that series then a viewer is left without "enrichment" for a week and they may not check back. With random card reviews one never knows if the next day's review might yield something of interest to them and their much more likely to check tomorrow.

One thing we haven't done here as a group is a Netrep deck type review. I realize this would be yet another undertaking and yet more work. It seems to be quite poplular though on other venues.

Yes I'm willing to take a (meaning 1 !) day a week...don't volunteer me for two a week! You'd be sorely disappointed with me! I'm too.....what's the word?....errr....ummm...oh yeah....forgetful!

You need a referral to join?....or you give a referral so I get massive amounts of unsolicited e-mail? <smirk> I'm not exactly certain what a referral there does....but thank you!
 
Well, it said if someone referred you, and I saw you on there with your Barrel Dragon (classic), talking about judges, lol, so I sorta joined because one of our old-school (not by age, by skillz) heavyweights joined, so I decided I'd join and see what I could do

How about a week of the best Graveyard effects? Esp. if you Creature Swap it to your opponent so you can get the effect... like Mystic Tomato, Nimble Momonga, Exiled.. *shuts up* :D

Seriously though... um... hmm... "Last Turn" was already done back in the day actually. It was our first one in fact (and rather neglected too).

Although, if you wish to go with "Monsters destroying Monsters" let's see...
Zaborg, TIV, Exiled Force (*cough*), others? And I don't want the "remove from play" version of "destroy" ;)
 
Perhaps two of the most neglected topics would be graveyard manipulation and decks / cards that take full advantage of removed from play.
 
Well, I'm thinking of putting up the "hotly debated" cards for the week for next week... as for the Monster v. Monster or RFP/GY manipulations... you guys care to put together a "schedule" of sorts along with the cards you'd like to do in it? That will go up the following week.
 
If it's any help, I can do CotD's whenever you want me too. It's not like I have anything else going on. How about a Rock monster week?
 
I'd be more than willing to help out with some reviews. I agree, a Rock week would be fun considering the new releases. Heck, even a straight up TLM week would be beneficial.

Or a week of LV monsters. Each day could be a series.

Like I said, I'd be happy to help out.
 
hey, guys, I'm tossing together a list for Andrew concerning this next week, since he's prolly swamped >.<. Any ideas on specific cards? I see Megarock, but from there do we go to Monk/Rock, or Rock-Solid?
