Ok, so since I've been able to get my hands on a few Inferno Reckless Summons, I've been trying to figure out the best way to try them out. Here's what I came up with...

Well just so you know, you might want to get some other Special Summon cards seeing how UFO Turtle happens in the Damage Step and I doubt you can activate IRL in there. I see what you were trying to do though.
 
According to the last letter we got from (was it Curtis?) there's no official word out on whether they will allow it during the Damage Step or not. By the usual standards, it can't be activated there. But the vauge "we don't know yet" answer we got makes us wonder if they plan on lableing it one of the acceptions.
 
Gilasarus works for your opponent. You would still not be able to use Inferno Reckless Summon if they decided to Special Summon a monster 1500 ATK or less.

[Correction] While it will work since you can Special Summon Gilasarus, you probably end up giving your opponent some advantage unless this was like first turn summoning.
 
Thats why you run something like Soul Release with it to keep all of their monsters removed from play then special summon Gilasaurus. First or second turn is good also. I have been running them in a Monarch deck lately and they work really good.
 
I know it's hardly thematic, but where's your Cannon Soldier? It's Last Will-able, it can be used to trigger your Last Will, it can really help to finish the duel (or if you just find yourself with an overload of monsters), and it's a classic with you.

I still remember that Strike Ninja deck I was so fascinated with, and you walking around with Cannon Soldier as your avvie. Now whenever I see one of your decks with no Cannon Soldier, I get bummed. :(

The funny thing is, everyone have their OWN answers of using IRS. Heck, I versed a fiend deck with IRS to pull out 3 Goblin Kings! (Yeah, it makes it 3x 2000ATK/DEF monster that NONE OF THEM I can declare an attack to! and the annoying thing is, he made me target my DDA pulling all three out, and chained that with BTH! I had to Torrential that turn, and thank god I had that set when he used it.) Seriously, this card is one FUN card that I will LOVE using once I get 3x pair in my collection. (Definately one of the best fun casual card)
 
Well, if you want to know more of how he made that deck, he ran Morphing, Cyver Jar, with like 3x Merchants I think and 3x Germs to totally trash all kinds of cards to the grave, then he used The Grave of Enkindling with the IRS (I HAD to bring out my DDA with Enkindling effect...) Anyway, I told him that he pulled a miracle of comboing those two cards, and he aGreed, saying this is definately not an efficiant deck using these two as card combos.

Anyway, after that I lost, after torrential, he summoned Necrofear (Yeah, he just HAD to do that, he had 5 fiends in the grave) I actually had to opt for Tsukuyomi, flip Necrofear face-down, then hit it with NoC which he just HAD to chain it to his face-down Deck Virus! Yeah... that Virus made me lose the duel.

It was fun and oh boy it was an interesting deck.
