This recently came up.
Player A has Invader of the Throne face down. She flip summons it, activating
its effect and selects Player B's Blade Knight.
Player B chooses not to chain.
Player A activates Book of Moon targeting Invader of the Throne.
Now how would this resolve exactly?
I ruled that since "Invader of the Throne" was no longer face-up on the field
that the effect would disappear as if Invader was destroyed before the effect's
resolution.
Would this be correct or would Player B get the face down monster? Or would
Player B get nothing AND lose Blade Knight?
Thanks in advance guys.
Answer:
Turning the "Invader of the Throne" face-down will not change anything.
It will still be exchanged with the opponent's monster.
So Player B will receive the face-down "Invader of the Throne" and
Player A will receive the "Blade Knight."
