Reverse Trap Versus Light and Darkness Dragon

I control Light and Darkness Dragon, and have two face-down trap cards: Jar of Greed and Reverse Trap.

I have Treeborn Frog in my graveyard.

During my draw phase I draw a card. I then activate Jar of Greed, which Light and Darkness Dragon's negation effect will chain to. I activate Reverse Trap as Chain Link 3.

Reverse Trap resolves, and Light and Darkness Dragon negates Jar of Greed.

I then move to my standby phase and attempt to special summon Treeborn Frog from my graveyard. Light and Darkness Dragon negates Treeborn Frog's effect. I activate Treeborn Frog's effect once more, and Light and Darkness Dragon will negate it again.

Can I continually activate Treeborn Frog's effect to pump Light and Darkness Dragon up to ridiculous stats?

The ruling on this is very interesting. Before this we were ruling that you could not activate LaDD's effect at all with Reverse Trap actived that turn because there is no way to lower his ATK/DEF. Now apparently, LaDD tries once and then says, "Oops! didn't lower, sorry. Can't do that again." Weird. It would be interesting to see the rational behind allowing it to work once (then only once). Did that strike anyone else a little odd?

Answer:
During the turn "Reverse Trap" is activated, "Light and Darkness Dragon's" second effect will only activate 1 time after "Reverse Trap" resolves. When it does, it will gain 500 ATK and DEF instead of losing 500 ATK and DEF. "Light and Darkness Dragon's" second effect will activate normally during following turns, and if it gained 500 ATK and DEF the gained ATK and DEF becomes a loss of 500 ATK and DEF.

Example:
Player A activates "Reverse Trap" in his Main Phase 1. Afterwards, he Tribute Summons "Light and Darkness Dragon". Player B activates "Bottomless Trap Hole". "Light and Darkness Dragon's" effect activates, negating "Bottomless Trap Hole" and gaining 500 ATK and DEF.
During the Battle Phase, Player A attacks with "Light and Darkness Dragon". Player B activates "Sakuretsu Armor". "Light and Darkness Dragon's" second effect does not activate and it is destroyed by "Sakuretsu Armor".

sounds like a BKSS ruling that LADD's negation effect can only happen once.
