now i was wondering if it was a fake or was it the google mail messing something up

Every once in a while they will come in like that for me too. I don't know what causes them. And they are also flagged as junk mail for me too....weird.

While we're on the subject, I've been getting very delayed emails from the Judges lists: Judge-Yu and Judge-Judge. They are all sent to my Yahoo email account.

Often times, the inbox page will indicate I have "X" many new messages, but only shows a fraction of those messages. I have to select the "Unread Messages" option to view all the new emails, and most of those come from the aforementioned lists, but were dated days, weeks, or even months ago. In addition, some of these messages end up in my "Bulk" folder.

I am wondering what can be done to change all this. Thanks.

Depends on what you mean by 'delayed'. Quite a few of the messages that have been pouring in these past few days WERE submitted as far back as January but are just now being answered. Also, I've heard 'rumors' that there are issues with the Judge emails and Yahoo. Everybody that I know who's had issues has switched to gmail (or other) accounts and all of their issues have been resolved.

goto the ude website and logon and click email list then check the box that says ude judge list i think thats right oh well simon will correct me if i'm wrong :grin_jedi

Judges List

He may not be able to add himself to the list.

He should make sure he is listed as being on the judges mail list. And while there make DOUBLE sure his e-mail is correct. Also that it list's him as being a Yu Gi Oh judge.

If he is not on the list; and trying to get on it will not work, he should e-mail judge@upperdech.com and let them know he want's on the list.

Yeah...

I've not been getting any emails from the Yu-Gi-Oh! mailing list for many months now, and I've no idea why. I've now changed my primary email from Hotmail to Yahoo to see if that makes any difference. I'm certainly on the mailing list, as I've gotten the emails before. For no apparent reason they just stopped a while ago.

I remember going to a website I can no longer remember nor find, but it was the website version of the rulings mailing list. I noticed it said I wasn't signed up to recieve the mailing list there, but when I tried to sign up it wouldn't let me, even though I'd signed in and everything.

Any suggestions? And a link back there again would be nice, as I can't find it.

The link is:

http://lists.upperdeck.com/read/?forum=judge-yu&max=100&skip=0&orderby=CreatStamp_+DESC

As I thought, it will not let you add yourself. You must e-mail judge@upperdeck.com

It WILL let you drop yourself! So be careful! :)

I stopped getting rulings from the list back in December. I tried emailing them, no success, so I gave up. As long as I can still access the site, I guess that's all I need.

Wow, I hear you...
and also Maruno.

I never changed my settings and all of a sudden I never got a judge-mail again.
Well, it's no big problem, I can still have a look at the judge-list overview and read the posts there...

but unfortunately, I can't access the L3 judge mails anymore. My mails to the judge-list got unheard to, maybe there are some issues with my mail account, but that's also unlikely to be true, since you also have these problems...

It has nothing to do with my settings at ude.com/op -> 'edit membership', everything's still fine there...

soul

udes forum emails havent worked ever since i joined a few months back.

Also when i became a judge i didnt get signed up to the mailing list. I got nothing. I passed my test in december. same time as my tournament organiser test and player management test. Havent heard nothing about nothing.

I have had no problem (so far :haveaday_ ) and still getting them.

Check any Spam dectors you OR your e-mail service has. Maybe getn deleated there.

Also, I feel UDE is dropping help with Yu Gi Oh. THey prefer we play thier OTHER game! I would just e-mail once a week. They rarely reply so maybe after a while, they actualy may see one of your!

That only solves maybe one problem, not why we cant submit questions or properly login in.

I find it hard to believe that even UDE would just disable everone accounts just because they want you to play their other games.

An email I recieved after sending a message to the Mailing List said:
This email message is to notify you that your membership to judge-yu
was previously "held" and has now been restored to "normal".

This means that you were not receiving mail from 'judge-yu'.

Your subscription was held because your email address was bouncing a
large amount of mail which was sent to it.

Your membership has now been restored to "normal", and the list
server program running 'judge-yu' will attempt to send you mail. If
your email address continues to bounce mail, your subscription will
once again be "held".

You may want to contact the people responsible for your electronic
mail to determine why your email address has been refusing mail.
This explanation is rubbish, because I have a 250MB Hotmail account, which has never been above 15% full.

Perhaps this means that you stop receiving the Mailing List if you stop asking questions?

Well, I don't know. Maybe they automatically put everyone on "hold" until they start asking things. Maybe they accidentally (maybe) put everyone on hold those months ago when people stopped receiving messages.

Not a clue.
