Quick question, if a D.D Assailant attacks a Ryu Kokki, would it be destroyed
by Ryu kokki's effect, which destroys D.D assailant at the end of the
damage step, or would it considered to be destroyed by battle, allowing it
to remove the Ryu Kokki. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
This depends on how "D.D. Assailant" holds up in battle.
If "D.D. Assailant" is destroyed due to damage calculation, it will have
been destroyed in battle. (D.D. Assailant had a lower ATK than Ryu Kokki,
for example)
If "D.D. Assailant" is not destroyed due to damage calculation, it will be
destroyed by "Ryu Kokki's" effect. (D.D. Assailant had a higher ATK than
Ryu Kokki, for example )
