Katnipped Kitty

Can Katnipped Kitty make the def of a face down monster 0? It doesn't say you can't, but on the other hand, do game mechanics juristict you can't simply because you can't "check" the stats of a face down monster?

I dont believe it would, but once attacked, that monster becomes face up, thereby turning its Def to zero right??

Face down monster don't have any stats. Catnipped kitty can't target a face-down monster.

If the card just had 1 attack point, it could be great, but its not to be. On top of the cards needed to keep monsters in face-up defense mode, needing to draw another card to give catnipped kitty some attack is just too much to rely on.

Though, combined with threatening roar, this card helped me stall until i could get my Big Tusked Mammoth out, so the can't be attacked part can be helpful.
