Keeping the graveyard tidy

A little question: if I use an effect that targets a card in the graveyard, like Premature Burial, will this card go on the top of the graveyard until the resolution of the effect? Or will it remain in the same position into the graveyard?

And, if this effect is negated, will the card remain on the top of the graveyard?

There are some cards, like Question, that request to keep the graveyard tidy...

Cards remain in the graveyard in the order that they were put there at all times (cards destroyed at the same time go in the order the owner chooses). ALthough, as you said, Question is the only card that matters to this, so most players tend not to be disciplined about it.
