Is there any way to abuse this combo?

Treeborn can't be summoned from the grave if there's a spell card, so something like card of safe return won't work.

The only way I could think would be to have certain monsters on the field. Cannon soldier wouldn't work since you can't tribute the frog during your standby phase.

Is there a monster that does damage each time a monster is summoned/special summoned? : D

chain energy:

Each player must pay 500 Life Points per card to Normal Summon, Special Summon, Set or activate cards from his/her respective hand.

I don't see it having any direct effect..

there is no monster card that do it yet or I don't know of any. that is why I said chain energy. Yes I know it's not a monster and you want monster but I don't know of any and this may work.

Nah it wouldn't unless you had the tiger and your oponent was dumb enough to keep trying to summon the frog. :p

You can't use Chain Energy to abuse Treeborn Frog because it will be in the magic/trap zone. Not to mention, your opponent wouldn't be playing anything during the combo therefore it would only affect you (should Treeborn Frog not have its little limitation).

As far as I'm aware, there is no possible way currently to abuse the loop. If there was any that existed, it would probably be extremely inconsistent, considering you would probably require multiple monsters on the field at the same time during your standby phase.

You could always hope your opponent returns it while you have Card of Safe Return out. That way, you'd draw a card everytime they returned it to the field, but then they'd just Deck you out and end their turn.... lol

Enemy Controller can be chained from your hand when Frog is summoned. Give up the frog to take your opponent's monster, and, since you're still in standby, Frog comes back again.

Wonder how they would do that, since the monster must come from your graveyard, so you can't draw a card when your opponent special summons a monster from his graveyard.

I think there is a Trap Card that allows you to do so, but I can't think of it off hand....

Creature Swap King Tiger to your opponent. Play Card of Safe Return. Bring back Treeborn Frog from your graveyard in your next standby phase. Draw your deck. Win with Exodia.

Card of Safe Return. Right. Because you can summon Treeborn Frog while Spell and/or Trap Cards are on your side of the field.

At the moment, there is no abusable way to take advantage of King Tiger Wanghu + Treeborn Frog. If one does come around, expect the Frog to get banned (a la Butterfly Dagger - Elma when Spell Absorption was released). The only thing you can currently do is "stall" with it which can get you DQed since deliberate stalling is considered Cheating.

sorry above post is correct.nevermind this.
if it did have an unlimited cycle effect, that would have been a good reason to limit it.

i still dont believe treeborn shoulda been limited, wanted to make a Des 3 frog deck
