Now that we've had a number of "fun" cards, let's go back to one that is a bit more competitive.
Soul of Malice - Gouka
Fire/Zombie/6/2200/1900
When there's a Fire attribute monster on your field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If it's Special Summoned this way, destroy a Fire attribute monster on your field. During your Standby Phase, Special Summon a [Fireball Token] (Fire/Pyro/1/100/100) to your field in defense mode. Tribute 1 Fire attribute monster outside of this card from your field to increase this card's ATK by 500 until end of turn.
Where From: V-Jump Magazine Promos
Likely TCG Appearance: Shonen Jump Magazine
This card is the first Fire/Zombie ever made. It's also very useful in a variety of decks. For starters, it provides an alternative for Zombies other than relying upon Ryu Kokki or Vampire Lord as their 1 Tribute Beatstick. Its 1900 DEF even allows for it to be searched by Pyramid Turtle. Second, it can work well in a Fire themed deck as Gouka can be Special Summoned by Destroying 1 Fire Monster. Not only will this still allow you to Normal Summon this turn, but also there's at least 1 Fire Monster that likes to be destroyed (Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys).
Further, during each of your Standby Phases, Gouka will summon a Token to the field. This token can be used to increase Gouka to 2700 for the turn (thereby making him stronger than most other commonly played monsters) or even used for a Tribute Summon (Monarchs? Hey, Thestalos is a Fire Monster too!)
Gouka is another of those cards that has little downside. While 2200 ATK may be low for a 1 Tribute, it's still strong enough to take down Cyber Dragon and as long as you have other Fire Monsters on the field, they can be tributed to make Gouka stronger for the turn. Being part of a fairly supported type (Zombies), relative ease to bring to the field, and a constant source of tokens to be used for whatever you need, Gouka is a versatile monster that can be used to support many different deck themes.
