The next few cards we will be looking at are more for collectors and theme deck players than necessarily Tier 1 Tournament decks. However, like the forthcoming Magician of Black Chaos, we don't necessarily want the card for its playability. We just want them for the Coolness factor.
Destiny Hero - Plasma
Dark/Warrior/8/1900/600
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 monsters. Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and only 1 monster can be equipped at a time to this card). Increase the ATK of this card by half of the ATK of the monster equipped to this card. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, the effects of all face-up Effect Monsters on your opponent's side of the field are negated.

TCG Appearance: 2007 Collector's Tins
Better known as Destiny Hero - Bloo-D, Plasma has been a favorite of Destiny Hero players and collectors. Although his effects have been scaled down from the anime, Plasma still retains his Relinquished + One-Side Skill Drain effect.
The fact he is a Nomi and requires 3 Tributes, Plasma has drawn many comparisons with Destiny Hero - Dogma over which card is the better choice. Plasma is perhaps a little easier since you do not need to tribute any Destiny Heroes at all (so activate Scapegoat the turn before, then tribute 3 for Plasma).
Destiny Hero - Plasma is also better than you may think. He can clear away any monster and increase his ATK strength in the process. Further Skill Drain has been an underrated card, esp. in today's high Effect Monster-themed deck. Like Skill Drain, Plasma would have no effect on cards whose effect resolves while the monster is not face-up on the field (Sangan, Destiny Hero - Malicious, Exiled Force, etc). However, Monarchs become nothing more than 2400 Beatsticks. Gadgets and Card Trooper become small squashible targets, and Snipe Hunter will be wishing he was Twin-Headed Behemoth instead.
Unlike in America, Japan often receives an extra card in the Strategy Guide for the game. Those cards that have been reprinted in the TCG though have appeared all over the place including Tins (Gilford the Lightning), Special Editions (Five-Headed Dragon, Winged Rhynos), Ultimate Editions (Dragon Master Knight), other Video Games (Dark Sage), Tournament Packs (Big Shield Gardna), Champion Packs (Magicians Unite), McDonald's Promos (Elemental Hero Mudballman), and even Shonen Jump Championship Prize Cards (Des Volstgalph). As such, Destiny Hero - Plasma could appear anyplace at anytime. (EDIT: Like Gilford the Lightning, it will be a Collector Tin Card).
3 out of 5 if you are looking for standard rating. It's better than you may realize and can lock down most opponent's decks.
5 out of 5 just because it's Relinquished wrapped up as a Destiny Hero. How could you not think this card is completely awesome and deserves anything less?
