Magic Jammer Vs. Spell Cards activating in the Graveyard

I know "Magic Jammer" negates and destroys Activated Spell Cards when they are activated from face-down to face-up. I also know it can't be chain to Continuous Effect from Spell Cards. But how about the following:
  1. Continuous Spell Cards that has Manual Activation Effect. For example is "Mass Driver"
  2. Spell Cards that has Trigger Effect. For examples are "Malevolent Nuzzler", "Axe of Despair", and "Horn of the Unicorn" when they get sent to the Graveyard.
I asked because I was playing WC5 7 Trials of Glory game and Joey had 2 Magic Jammer"s. I activated "Malevolent Nuzzler" and he chains with "Magic Jammer". Then when my "Malevolent Nuzzler" is sent to the Graveyard and Triggers it's effect, he chained his other "Magic Jammer".

I know...I know....Don't use video games for ruling, but It got me thinking though.

That is exactly what I was asking, after "Mass Driver" was initially activated, then on your next turn, use it's effect.

If you can't do the above, then why can you chain "Magic Jammer" to "Malevolent Nuzzler" when it Triggers in the Graveyard? In short, what does "Activation" means in:

"Discard 1 card from your hand. Negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it." text of "Magic Jammer"

Continuous Effects never activate.

I don't believe there is a term when Contiuous Effects "activate" notice I'm not saying there being "activated", but the term is that there are being "applied"

Jinzo continues to "apply" it's effect, meaning it forever prevents activation of trap cards, and from activating in the first as long as it remains face-up on the field.

For Mass Driver, has a manual ignition but it never in my eyes "activates", you "apply" the effect tributing 1 monster on your side of the field, to inflict 400 points of damage.

It's more of a terminology issue. Some doesn't want to use Ignition because they don't want to associate it with Ignition Effect. Others don't want to call it Activate since it is different from Activating a Card from face-down to face-up. We can use "use the effect" or "apply the effect" (probably better), but it becomes confusing with Continuous Effect that are always ON and Continuous Effect, but you choose when to use the Effect. YGO needs to have a clear-cut terminology on this. They forced "Ignition Effect", so they must force terminology on Effects of Continuous Cards.

I agree. There isn't a term or something somewhat as a definition for when Continuous Effects are "being applied" is there? Like for Mass Driver. Hope they come up with a universal term for this someday.

Yes that would be called Effect Activation, as opposed to Card Activation (when you first play the card).

Magic Jammer, as stated above, can only respond and be chained to Card Activation.

"Apply", "Effect Activation" and "Card Activation" are all different. We should create a Glossary. :D

PD: If there's actually a glossary, please give me the Link...PLEASE :D!
Card activation: the act of placing a spell or trap card face up on the field or flipping it face up.

Effect activation, using a spell/trap or monster's effect. Only applies to trigger/multi-trigger/ignition effects since continuous EFFECTS are always active (not to be confused with continuous Spell/traps, e.g. Ultimate Offering is a continuous Trap but you still must activate it's effect by paying 500LP any time you wish to use the extra summon). The activation of an effect is chainable.

Apply just has it's standard english meaning and so shouldn't need defining.

Actually a manual or triggered activation of a monster effect is considered from a mechanical point of view like "Card Activation" for Spells and Traps.

That is precisely why you can use Divine Wrath on any activated monster effect.

It's saying to negate the both the activation of the effect and the effect itself (think they're trying to dumb things down too much again with over-explaining), don't really see what this has to do with a card activation?
