Magical Dimension vs Bottomless Trap Hole

Hello

I am wondering if someone could please help to clear up the following issue:

If I activate Magical Dimension, tribute one of my monsters and then special summon a Spellcaster from my hand, can my opponent respond to the summon with a card such as Bottomless Trap Hole?

I think not because Magical Dimension has not finished resolving - it still has the option to destroy one monster on the field. Therefore, in my mind, the timing for BTH has been missed.

Any comments or clarification?

if you choose to activate 'Magical Dimension''s last effect, your opponent can't use 'Bottomless Trap Hole' as it's missed its timing (your Reasoning is correct).
