I have problems when words happen>lol

Magical hats says you "can" activate this card during the battle phase. Now, using my brain I would say o.k this card can only be activated during the battle phase. Like trap jammer or something. Now, question: do I have to wait till battle phase? I know you can tribute those tokens as monsters but, dilema. How can I tribute them if they have to be used during battle phase. Hmmm, is that just printed on the card for option? Or can I find some kind of sideway entrance to use this card.

Select 2 non-Monster Cards from your Deck and 1 of
your Monster Cards on the field, then shuffle your
Deck. Shuffle the 3 selected cards and Set them on
the field in face-down Defense Position. The 2 cards
selected from your Deck are treated as monsters
(ATK 0/DEF 0) and are destroyed at the end of the
Battle Phase. You can ONLY use this effect during
your opponent's Battle Phase.

Actually for one thing duh>lol I realize that most likely you would definately use this card "only"during your opponents battle phase.

But, guess what I don't see the word only on my card!

now I know that through common sense you can only activate this through your opponents battle phase. But sometimes rulings get weird. I wonder why there are different rulings that wouldn't make sense to the reader of the card. But, you'll never know what happens next sometimes. But in this case, I don't see the word only on the card at all. It may be a misprint, but I can't say. All I know that of course it goes through the battle phase but as far as your own turn I don't see the words only. So maybe just maybe it's possible. Most likely not but I just like asking. Help me out please...
