Magicians Valkiria, Question.

PLayer A has two Magicians Valkiria, a DArk Magician and a SIlent Magician level 8 on the field.


PLayer B has Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon on the field.


Now, with two magicians valkiria out NO spellcaster can be targeted for attack right?, SO does this mean the BEUD can attack directly?


I ask because this makes me think of the ruling on Legendary Fisherman W/Umi.

No, Magician Valkyiria works similar to Marauding Captain, so if there are two Valkyria's your opponent cannot attack at all. If there is only one Valkyria and other Spellcasters, your opponent can attack Valkyria.

The "attack directly" clause only applies to cards that are stand alone walls of defense. The Legendary Fisherman and Guardian Kay'est, specifcally. An other monsters who protect or redirect attacks at another will create a lock without that clause. This is one of the one true ":bkss"s

If the player have 2x Magician's Valk and then a NON-spellcaster monster, they can attack that non-spellcaster monaster if I'm correct. But yeah, if there's 2x Valk and the rest of the monsters are Spellcaster, you got a Marauding Captain/Command knight lock thing.

Yep. For the lock, you don't even need any other Spellcasters, just the two Valkyries (since they're Spellcasters themselves). The lock is identical to the Marauding Captain lock.
