Mirage of Nightmare VS Emergency Provisions

David activates Mirage of Nightmare; during his opponent's turn, he draws some cards; during his draw phase, he draws Emergency Provisions.

Can Davide activate Emergency Provisions from his hand during the same draw phase, or in his next standby phase to avoid the discarding effect of Mirage?

ok if i got the hole cost and effect right then when he draws after the draw phase he inters the main phase but if he playes emergency provision its effect now takes place because it is quick play so he can send cards to the grave yard (cost) to increase his life points so after the effect of emergence prev resolvs then than Mirage of Nightmare effect kicks in because it was never negated just slowed it down

i bleave i am right but i may be wrong

umm, you can play it during your draw phase, and since continuous cards have to be on the field to work, since mirage is gone as a cost, it can't activate the discard effect
