Subject: Mirror Wall Dilemma
To the Netreps,
I've been having some puzzling scenarios popping up recently with
that evil card called Mirror Wall. I've been told multiple things
and I just need to clarify this once and for all.
1. If mirror wall is active on my opponent's side of the field and i
summon Injection Fairy Lily and attack his monster, for this example
let it be a Gemini Elf. Would my attack from 400 get reduced to 200
and i boost up her attack in the damage step to 3200 or would mirror
wall do a constant check on my attack and halve it during the
process. This dilemma to me at least is caused by the logic i'm
using that is a spell card that reduces her attack is equipped to
her causing her attack to be zero, even if her attack is boosted,
she would still get deducted from the extra difference. Meaning that
spell and traps that reduce attacks are constantly checking her
total attack.
2. I have no idea where this cropped up but i do want to clarify
this one as well. How about if i decide to use mirror wall
offensively? Say it is my turn and i activate it, attack my
opponent's monsters. would their attacks be halved as well during
this time? Or did someone really pull a fast one on me. =)
Anyway, I know that mirror wall might still be up there in
discussion but any reply would be appreciated at this time. =)
Answer:
1. "Mirror Wall" would halve "Injection Fairy Lily's" ATK to 200, then its ATK
would be increased by 3000 points to 3200.
2. Your opponent's monsters aren't attacking. Their attacks wouldn't be halved.
