Today it is already the third Post-ban day. Or to call it today: Moisture Creature-day!
Much people have heard of this card. But even with that fact"¦ it is a bit underused. Maybe because not that much people play LIGHT-decks? Don't know actually"¦.
Now, the facts:
Moisture Creature
PGD-013
Fairy / LIGHT / Level 9 / 2800 ATK / 2900 DEF / Effect
Personally, I like his effect the most:
If you Tribute Summon this monster by Tributing 3 monsters on the field, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field.
What does this mean?
You can just tribute 2 monsters for it (and you won't get it's effect), or you can Tribute 3 monsters for it, and activate the build-in "Harpies Feather Duster".
Now, such a card has of course some rulings.
1) You can Summon "Moisture Creature" by Tributing 2 monsters, but the effect will not be activated.
2) You cannot Summon "Moisture Creature" by Tributing 3 monsters if there are no Spell or Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field.
3) If you activate the effect of "Moisture Creature" and your opponent chains "Book of Moon" to the effect, the effect still resolves and all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field are destroyed
I think that is now clear"¦ He is a LIGHT monster, so he can have the support of Beckoning Light, Hoshiningen, Luminous Spark, Ray of Hope and Kaiser Sea Horse.
For his being of Fairy"¦ He has back-up of The Sanctuary in the Sky and the old-good Cestus of Dagla.
You CAN try to build a Deck around him"¦ but I won't recommend it, since he is hard to get on the field.
Pro's:
- Strong effect, a force to be reckoned with
- Nice ATK and DEF
Con's:
- Needs 3 Tributes to activate his effect (you can make that 2 by using Kaiser Sea Horse)
- Not the ultimate destroyer when needed
Ratings:
Advanced play: 3/5. Thanks to his effect, and a bit because of his nice ATK / DEF
Traditional play: 1/5. Harpie's Feather Duster beats him
Graphic: 3/5. Actually quite funny. But the best of the best? No.
A Deck where he would fit in, a LIGHT Deck:
Tribute monsters (4x)
Moisture Creature (2x)
Gilford the Lightning (1x)
Luminous Soldier (1x)
Non-tribute monsters (17x):
Kaiser Sea Horse (3x)
Thunder Nyan Nyan (1x)
Asura Priest (1x)
Blade Knight (1x)
Hysteric Fairy (2x)
Mirage Dragon (2x)
Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke (1x)
Reflect Bounder (1x)
Skilled White Magician (2x)
X-Head Cannon (2x)
Magician of Faith (1x)
Spells (11x)
Luminous Spark (2x)
Cestus of Dagla (2x)
Bait Doll (1x)
Book of Moon (1x)
Giant Trunade (2x)
Heavy Storm (1x)
Premature Burial (1x)
Mystical Space Typhoon (1x)
Trap (9x)
Beckoning Light (2x)
Ray of Hope (2x)
Call of the Haunted (1x)
Magic Jammer (2x)
Seven Tools of the Bandit (2x)
See your tomorrow. When I show you the strenght of Command Knight. Sleep well and hope you enjoyed the review.
