monster vrs magic tpap?? ((nee help))

say i plas penguin solder and end turn then my opponet actvates call of the haunted and premature buraly to bring out two nomral monsters and then he attacks my monster and i flip penguin and return his monsters ,,what happens to the cads

ok say the monsters go back to his hand and the magic/trap are still on the field can i play heavey storm on my turn and kill all the magic and traps on the field and since call of the haunted is no longer on the filed along with preumature buraly does his monsters die and go to the grave yard since the cards are no longer on the field even if the monsters are in his hands

once the monsters go to the hand, they lose all attahments on the field, including the "strings attached" from call of the haunted or premature burial
premature will be destroyed b/c it has no more legal target, and call will sit there without a purpose

that answer your question?

what you should have done is use the Heavy Storm to kill the S/T cards First... then the monsters would have been gone.. and not reusable because they did not go back to the hand. They would be in the graveyard and you would have an open attack on the Lifepoints with the summon of another card. That way you could simply save the flip effect just in case your opponent gets another monster or two on the field later on.

From the way the question is worded, that doesn't seem like an option here.

He Set PS and then on the opponent's turn he Special Summoned the 2 monsters and attacked. The leaves no room for Heavy Storm.

The monster's would be sent back to the Hand, PB would be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard due to lack of target, and Call would remain face-up with no target.

If Heavy Storm is played next turn, all the would occur is Call being destroyed. The monsters would be in the Hand and not destroyed.

Another way of playing this is if you don't mind loosing some lifepoints, then don't use Penguin Soldier's effect. Then on your turn, play Heavy Storm.

Or if you have low lifepoints, return the monster that has not attacked yet, then on your turn, play Heavy Storm to kill the monster that attacked your Penguin Soldier.

Yeah i guess you could choose 0, and allow the second monster hit direct, and then Heavy Storm the next turn.

That is of course if you can afford the LP loss.

lol...i guess i've never looked at it that way because i've never chosen 0 for PS. I've always opted to at least send 1 back.
