Oh snap! Is this Chaos Sorcerer and Chaos Emperor Dragon ALL OVER AGAIN?! Yep, looks like it is. The only difference is that you remove 4 monsters instead of 2. (So you can't spam like 3x of these like Chaos Sorcerer, 2x at max or 1x of each of them) And of course, the effects for "Semi-CED" is weakened. Although it kills all cards on hand/field (And it's "sending", so no Dark World) at LEAST it doesn't come with a LP damage. But it DOES let the player who activated to DRAW. (So he'll be ahead by +1 card advantage) And we know back then that there's PLENTY of good Dark/Light removal fodders like Cyber Dragon/Zaborg/Shining Angel/Tomato/Skelengel/Reaper/Sangan/MoF/etc. etc. etc. (Even Marshmellon in Japan wise)

I know it's a 4 monster removal... but for all honestly, I still don't get what are they thinking giving them a 2400ATK free special summon beatstick with that effect... I thought they learned their lesson... I mean, will Chaos+Decree or Chaos+RftDD deck make a comeback? (Along with people not playing one random Pot thing again)

Wind Emperor - Riser
Wind/Bird/6/2400/1000

WOAH! That smells like THE MONARCHS?! (ZOMG!) Yay, my prayers have been answered for MORE MONARCHS! And interesting is, this card have the effect of targetting ANY 1 card on the field. Mobius can only target s/t, Zaborg only monsters, Granmarg only face-down, but yeah, this card have no restrictions. (EDIT: And bounce effect to the top of deck can be more powerful the destruction depending on situations. As in if you give them a dead card draw in the next turn.)

Ultimate (Backwater) Formation
Trap - Normal

Sounds like RftDD for Six Warmaster series. I guess that'll boost the theme even better. So what if your LP is 100 if you can OTK for game.

Assuming the translation is correct, the Sky Devil Lords can't just use ant 3/1 of Lights and Darks as if you read closer they need 3 Light/Fairy 1 Dark/Fiend or 3 Dark/Fiend 1 Light/Fairy. Not something you regularly see...

...

That said Konami/UDE just gave us a very easy way to help get them out... "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh" anyone? Light Fairy (Winged Kuriboh) and Dark Fiend (Kuriboh) from deck to hand/field. And they're great stall cards. Back to the Chaos days indeed.

EDIT

Don't forget the other Sky Devil Lord too... Invisil... the one that gains "Negate Spells/Traps" based on what was used for Tribute... oh look again the Kuriboh's fit that bill all too nicely.

Kuriboh "Chaos" ftw?

If SD12 includes a Demon recruiter, things could get interesting. Otherwise, I'm thinking Majestic Mech Ohkas/Shining Angels and Giant Orcs/Newdorias +/- Skill Drain (& Trunade for "Chaos")

More comments

Barrier (Artist) - Meiku will nuke Stall, D Fissure/Macro Cosmos.

Wind Monarch is ok. If it targets a monster on the opponent's field, that's good, but if it's an s/t, that s/t could be chained. It's another mandatory effect so bringing this out by itself vs an empty field is a no-no.

I'm also thinking Counter Fairies and Airknights and Newdorias and Dark World.

What a mess.

And to think, I had Light/Dark World deck before that used Beckoning Light to help trigger the DW guys. Now's it's a legit deck-type. Oy!

Oh, your right. THANK GOD. Yay! We're saved from Chaos. So it's more like Dark Necrofear, but even more specific monster versions needed. Okay, then yeah, it's fine.

But yeah, it'll be interesting to mix stuff like Shining Angel and Darkworld and throw these monsters in.

There isn't one. The spoilers for all the SD12 are released. The only recruiter is Mystic Tomato. There is a "Zombie Sangan" that's on SD12

SD12-JP006
Goblin Zombie
Dark/Undead/4/1100/1050
When this card does battle damages to your opponent, send the top card of your opponent's deck into his/her Graveyard.
When this card is sent to Graveyard from the field, choose a Undead monster with defense strength of 1200 or less, verify
by both players, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

-----

It's a Mill + Zombie-type Sangan. Screams to search Spirit Reapers, Pyramid Turtle, Des Lacooda, etc. (I'm gunna say this monster is gunna be a staple for at least 1x in a Zombie deck that loves Pyramid Turtles)

Goblin Zombie cannot search out Pyramid Turtle, since Turtle has 1400 def.

As for the new "Chaos", they are worth the effort of deckbuilding, actual playing and using their effects. 4 monsters of 2 specific subtypes in a specific ratio is not something you can do right off the bat.

Oh, your right. Hah, too bad it can't search the most annoying Zombie other then the CC Reaper. (Seriously, in a Zombie deck, I hate Pyramids more then Reapers) Well, at least it can search itself out since it's lower then 1200DEF.

Hey, check these guys out.

EDIT: Oh yeah, got them from dmcomet.

FOTB-JP014
E-Hero Captain Gold

Emissary of Sky - Zeradias

Man, I think Terraforming now lost all meaning in these type of decks. Really, in Archfiend/Legendary Ocean/E-Hero/Sanctuary deck, I will definately replace any Terraforming with these dudes.

EDIT: Sorry about not putting that dmcomet source. And man, at least they put a limitation on those 2100ATK beatsticks. (i.e. they need that field spell to be on the field) Or else they're way too abusive. We still got Cyber Dragons to deal with. (Especially E-Hero Captain Gold, being a 2100ATK Warrior. Thank god that's not a Dark or else ROTA+DDV decks would have a field day and replace all of their Zombryas.)

Please post the source of all spoilers esp if it's from dmcomet... they put in a lot of work to get this info and the main thing they want is just credit/link back to them.

Interesting, especially the Sanctuary searcher. Will make a fine addition to a Agent of.. deck I'm trying to build.

I wonder what kind of broken effect Legendary City - Atlantis has... or is actually A Legendary Ocean that's being refered to?

Am I reading this right, +1900 lv4's being introduced with no tributed needed; maybe a mistake; when is this set due to be released?

Not til the summer... after all, this is the spoilers for the set AFTER Strike of Neos and the official release of that isn't until March (the preview isn't until the last week of February).

At this point, is there any place else that spoilers come from other then DM Comet? Nowadays I just always assume that's where their from.

Legendary City - Atlantis = A Legendary Ocean. The USA Konami changed the name text. (I guess they didn't like the word Atlantis for some reason)

No, your NOT reading them wrong. They're all either 1900ATK or 2100ATK beatsticks. AT least the 2100ATK beatsticks got limitations that the field spell must be on the field to play it. But yeah, that 1900ATK beatstick would work well in a Water deck. (So you can run more high Water attribute beatstick rather then the usual Abyss Soldier)

Pandemonium - Nest of Demons = Pandemonium.

And yeah, Sanctuary of the Sky decks that'll be built around that Light Structure Deck 11 would benefit alot from that monster.

Well, since STON is gunna be released at Feb/March. I guess FOTB will be released May/June.

Based on a statement Kevin has made on Pojo, aparently English names are actually decided by Takahashi himself. Basically he gives it the Japanese name he likes and then he gives it the English name he likes, whether the two are similar or related to each other or not. That would mean he's pretty much the one responsible for the English cards we got named "Ancient" rather then the Japanese name he chose, "Antique", which everyone kind of liked better and were disapointed to see changed when we finally got our versions.

Horray for the Wind Monarch - it is a Bird/Winged Beast! It is the first Winged Beast that have both a good stats and a good effect IMO. It can easily put your opponent back for a turn, costing him/her a draw and a Summon. Wow. Winged Beast finally got a good monster.

Yeah, the good thing about this monster is that you can select ANY 1 CARD on the field. Face-up, face-down, monster, s/t, doesn't matter. (Mobius/Granmarg/Zaborg have all limitation of what it can target)

Yeah, the prob with this card is that the effect is a bounce. So yeah, it doesn't fuel PoA, but it also gives the card back to the owner. (Although it does have that 1 turn delay since it put it on the top of deck, not hand) I mean, if there is no Treeborn Frog in the foe's graveyard, might as well put that Dark World/Monarch in the top of deck. Also nomi/level 7~8 monsters will hate this effect. (Sacred Phoenix for example) If you got a good anti-draw/bounce control deck, this card can see huge potential.

Heh, bouncing Treeborn Frog with this card might be fun actually.
