morphing jar + forced requisition

turn player has 1 card in hand, an active forced requisition and a FD morphing jar.

jar is flipped, and resolved.
since forced req is active, would the non-turn player now be forced to discard one card, or would forced miss its timing since the last thing to happen was a draw?

The effect of Forced Requisition is "like" a mandatory trigger therefore it cant miss its timing. The NTP would discard 1 card by its effect.

 

[Entropy]

Forced Requisition can't "miss the timing". Morphing Jar would resolve, and then NTP would discard one card from his/her new hand.

 

[Kenjiblade]

"Forced Requisition" can miss the timing for its initial activation (flipping it from face-down to face-up), but that's all. Once active, it will trigger for any and all discards, regardless of whether it was a discard via cost or effect.

Some common methods of initially activating "Forced Requisition" include "Graceful Charity", "Dark World Lightning", and discarding at the End Phase when you have 7 or more cards in your hand.
