mystic wok versus soul exchange

The basic thing to remember is that Mystik Wok says that you tribute a monster. Soul Exchange can be used for anything that demands a tribute unless the tribute calls for a specific monster for a specific effect.

'Mystik Wok' is not like 'Metamorphosis' when using 'Soul Exchange', for the latter you may not have a Fusion Monster of the same level to tribute, but when using the former it's impossible not being able to resolve it.
