narrow pass and ground collapse question

1. can narrow pass be activated even if there are no monsters on the field?

2. is it possible to have three ground collapse active on the field by one player? if so, what happens to the sixth monster slot that has to be selected?

thanks very much!!! :D

I would say that because the card says, "Select 2 Monster Cards Zones" that there isnt much wiggle room there. If you already activated 2 Ground Collapse Cards, then the third would be an illegal activation based on the fact that you cannot select 2 zones.

Not quite.

Since the card does not say "opponent's monster zone" than you MAY choose one of your own. So the third GC would require you to use one of your own monster zones as well as the last of theirs.

Yeah... I was more or less thinking that there may be monsters on the players side.

Regarding Ground Collapse... yeah I was one of the first in my area to clear the confusion on Ground Collapse that 3 can be active at once. I even verified it with the judge group to make sure. But nowadays all you need is one ground collapse and one ojama king. or switch king for the trio. Play that with Spatial collapse and then the opponent only has spots for two cards (m/t).

Unless the opponent has jam breeding machine (yes it's still played in newbie decks, at least that's all I see it in), then just bring in Fenrir to really mess things up.
