Neo Spacian Humming Bird + Bad Reaction to Simochi

My question is this:

Why does this not work, I would of thought by having Bad Reaction to Simorgi on my side of the field, and summoning Neo Spacian Humming Bird, the effect of increasing my life points by 500 for each card in my opponents hand, would change to Damage of 500 per card to my opponent.
I tried this on yugioh Online and it wouldn't work, why not???

As in, you control both Bad Reaction and Air Hummingbird? Well, Bad Reaction only affects increases to your opponent's Life. The Hummingbird increases your Life.

Or, do you mean you control Bad Reaction and your opponent has Air Hummingbird? Well, then it's supposed to inflict damage. The game must have it wrong.

The video games aren't a very good source of rulings.

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, any effect of increasing your opponent's Life Points is changed to inflict the same amount of points in damage to your opponent's Life Points.

the answers in the text. hummingbird increases your life not your opponents so it doesnt damage him. Now if your opponent used hummingbirds effect THEN he would take the damage.

Unless they wanted low Life Points, to activate certain cards.

Although playing Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird would go against that goal. A crazy idea, but someone might have it.
