New Rulings on Ignition effects of facedown monsters

Ignition Effects on monsters cannot be activated while the Effect Monster is face-down. So these face-down monsters cannot be Tributed for their own effects.

These cards rulings now state that the card has to be face up for the effect to be activated and I am wonderring are they missing some cards off of this list. I am wonderring if we have a number of other cards to add to this list. These might be :-

Flame Ruler
Kaiser Sea Horse
Unshaven Angler
Whirlwind Prodigy
Double Coston
The Trojan Horse

Should these monsters be added to that list also since you are tributing them to summon a 2 tribute monster and the effect allows a 2 for 1 trade off. Any ideas?

They have that effect even while face-down, because it is a condition, I believe. If I'm wrong, hammer me.

No you're correct. This was debated on another thread but even though the "why" wasn't quite accepted (to the best of my recollection) by some, those 6 indeed are continuous effects/conditions which aren't negateable by Skill Drain, Divine Wrath, and (I'm taking a stab at this before I get pounced on for offering an opinion) The End of Anubis. (And if you ask me why, I'm viewing them in the same category as Elemental Mistress Doriado whose effect is also considered a condition while she is in your hand and graveyard).
