Anyone else playing this?

Fun stuff.

In addition to dueling, there's puzzles to solve; which is pretty cool.
The characters you play make different expressions when the lose and gain life points. Unfortunately, the image of "you" is just a silouette; so no expressions for the player. Dang.

I really like the puzzles! Some of them are very difficult! Even on the beginner page!

I didn't find any of them very difficult... I solved most of the puzzles in about 15 minutes each. The other puzzles I solved in less time ;)

There are one or two puzzles I couldn't figure out. I still am having trouble with them. But there are many questions I still have about certain things in the game. Like are there 20 or 21 packs. A friend and I figured out that when you have the first 20 packs (After killing Yami Marik with a god card) at 100% of all packs you own you only have like 94.something% of all cards owned. Where are the other 60-65 cards?

Can you register with all duelists, trade, and get deck recipies from?

Besides the password machine, how can you get a 2nd and 3rd magicians circle and the silent magicians (in the game, like the BC and EC pack stuff)

Is there a way to obtain Ra?

These are just some of my questions. I want to be able to build any deck I choose on the game, so I know how to get which cards I want. Plus I would like to know which cards I don't know are in the game available for me to play. For instance, Kaiba plays Raigeki and Mai uses the Herpies Feather Duster, but I haven't seen those available in packs yet....can I get them and if so how?

I found an error in the game!!!!

Deck Destruction Virus[trap card]
You can only activate this card when a fiend type monster on your side of the field with an attack less than 500 is destroyed as a result of battle. Discard 10 random cards from your opponents deck.

(What it really does in the game, even though this is how it reads)

Deck Destruction Virus (Crush Card)
[trap card]
Tribute a DARK monster on your side of the field with 1000 or less attack points. Look at your opponents monsters on the field, their hand, and any cards drawn in the next 3 turns. If any of these cards are monsters with an attack of 1500 or more, send them directly to the graveyard.

The only reason that I figured this out is because Kaiba played it on me, tributing his Sangan at the start of his turn, and I read the card he played, but no cards were sent from deck to graveyard. Then it showed each card in my hand and the set monsters on the field. Three turns later I drew my Vorse Raider and it was discarded. They fudged up bad here!

EDIT: somehow writing Deck Destruction Virus autolinked to Deck Devastation Virus. I don't know if this was by mistake or if it happened for a reason, but sorry to anyone who was confused by this. I erased the autolinking from them though.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the correct text for the "Crush Card". This is NOT the same card as "Deck Devastation Virus" from Flaming Eternity. And the way it was played against you was the correct way to play the card.

As for the 1st set of text, where did you get it from?

The first text IS the text of the card played on me in the game. The second set of text is how the card works when played.

EDIT:If you don't believe me, it is a Super Rare (Where stars are shown on the card when the pack is opened) in Inherited Will. Play it in a deck and use Kuriboh or Sangan to trigger it, then watch what happens.

EDIT#2: Also, like I said, the card is Deck Destruction Virus in the game, Not Deck Devastation Virus. That one is in Roar of Demise, but I do not know the rarity yet.

And don't think I memorized this S#!+. I have the game right here for reference.

Aaaaah..I see! So the text in the game is completely wrong, but the card plays correctly. lol..that's funny.

Oh, and if you've ever seen the movie (as every true fan should have just to get the cards.........lol), that 1st set of text is deck destruction virus from the movie. Remember how much of yugi's deck went to the graveyard? 30 cards (in the movie DDV stayed on the field)! Yugi had to be playing a 60 card deck that duel!

Anyways, yeah, so when I first saw the card I thought it actually had that effect, and there were 3 different cards:

Crush Card
Deck Devastation Virus
Deck Destruction Virus

Thanks Konami for the having such commited beta testers.

What I find really funny is the computer did this. This obviously means that when they programmed the game they did one of two things:

1) Put the wrong text on the card, but programmed the functions concerning it in a manner which was intended, or:

2) Put the correct text on the card, then programmed the effect for the crush card which might be only accessable through trade with computer opponents (there are a number of cards in the game only accessable this way.)

Or, in other words, they made an oops.

First, you need to register him as a duelist, after that you must duel and duel and duel him until he wants to trade it, I don't know which card he wants for it, though.

Also, if you have the US/Japanese version of the game, then you can't get them if you've defeated Marik, because of some bug in the game, he doesn't show up anymore after that.

<><><><><><><>IMPORTANT TO 100% CARD LIST<><><><><><><>

If you want to 100% the card list on Nightmare Troubador, you must have it in the DS slot of the DS and yugioh GX Duel Academy in the GBA slot. Start up NT and continue your game. Before it takes you to your room a screen will pop up confirming you have just been given 3 Winged Kuriboh! Then the game goes on as normal. If you don't own GX, borrow it from a friend for like 5 minutes.

As far as I know, the Winged Kuriboh does NOT count towards the 100% count.
