Nightmare Wheel

Not only can you do it, it is quite fun.

I like to Set Nightmare Wheel and activate it before the end of my opponent's Draw Phase on their face-down monster.

This gives them less chance to flip the monster and use it and can annoy your opponent's strategy quite well.

Not only that but the card does not specify it has to be an "opponent's" monster. I recently played someone using it in a burn deck and made him activate it (bait doll) on his own monster (only one on the field). Isn't THAT just so much fun. HAHAHA

Look on his face when forced to activate the Wheel on his Solar Flare... :bishop:

In this case yu would be taking the damage anyway.

From the card text:
Nightmare Wheel
Select 1 monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot attack or change its battle position except by the effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster Card. This card inflicts 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. When the selected monster is destroyed or removed from the field, this card is also destroyed.

The damage will be for the opponent of the controller of "Nightmare Wheel" not to the controler of the designated monster.

Maybe they are going use a rule/errata/etc. to change this.

Maybe something like:

"...No, you are not allowed to use Nightmare Wheels on your Solarflare Dragons...you B#%@!#$ "

Anyway, I saw it on the GBA Game (I Know it is not reliable) and the text say that only your opponent monster can be selected, so maybe in the future they would change it.

Now that Bishop is a "free agent" he could make rulings like that HAHA. And as far as the GBA/Video games go, they're about as reliable as the show half the time lol. :pchate:
