Official Dark Beginnings 1 Pull Thread

Bought 3 packs today and here's what I got.

Super Rare: Makyura the Destructor
Rare: Trap Hole, Hayabusa, Axe of Despair
Common: Left Arm, Sanga of the Thunder, Harpie Lady Sisters (used to be valuable haha)

what do they come in?  What should i look out for?  Where in walmart? Aslo is DB1 tournament legal yet?

db1 is tourney legal cause its a reprint set.

also, it should have been out in hobby stores dude.

thats were i bought my packs on sunday, got rare forcefull centry,

Super Delinquent Duo and a Rare Toon Summoned Skull in the same pack.

I like how they say 13 cards in every pack and they count the "Tip Card" as one of them...

I'm bummed that the card listed in the Tip Card isn't in the pack. That would have made some sense. Then again, from a business standpoint, I supposed giving a tip on a card and making you buy more packs to find it is the way to go...

Think of it as a common. They can't realistically control which ones go in with them in which pack. That would take too much time and coordination. And we know UDE isn't known for that ;) hehe j/k

Today must have been stocking day at my Wal-Mart cause yesterday they had next to nothing... today... OODLES of DB1.

So I got 2...

Pack #1: Fairy Meteor Crush (Rare) and just to mention... Jam Breeding Machine (ooh). Hey, I just realized... DNA Surgery is there too... :evil:

Pack #2: The first card staring back at me? B. - FREAKING - SKULL DRAGON! (Super Rare). You don't know how long I have wanted that card. Also got Suijin (Common but hey, I'll take it)... and Jar of Greed (Rare)?!? A Rare and Super Rare?!? In the same pack? This is making up for pulling "Theban Nightmare" and "The Sanctuary in the Sky" after I traded for 3 each of them.

densetsu_x: I think KoJ did this with BE1, too. You are ALWAYS going to get a Rare. ALWAYS. So how does the extra Super/Ultra get in there? They take out a Common. It's as simple as that. In packs that have a Super/Ultra Rare, you will ALWAYS get one less Common and 1 silver-lettered Rare (unless it's a "misprint" pack, of course).

If they are doing it that way, that would just be way too Sweet... rather than having 12 Commons and 1 Rare or Rarer...

I got Rare Trap Hole and [glow=red,2,300]Makyura the Destructor[/glow] in the same pack, go figure

I notised this in the Japanese box of FET and the 2 packs that came out of my Structure Deck Set.. all packs with a Super Rare come bundled with a Rare. It's only the Super Rares that are like this.. Ultimate Rares and Ultra Rares are just like normal.

I'll be judging a regionals this Saturday, and I just might get some DB1 stuff  :D

I'll post the stuff once I get it, and just to stop additional threads from beginning, I'll sticky this.

During the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard, the owner of this card can activate Trap Card(s) from his/her hand.

That would be kinda pointless if it was killed on the opponents turn though....
