Note: Each Pack contains exactly 6 monsters 3 spells and 3 traps.

Bought a box today (the employee had to go dig it out of the parcel.. yay I got it First :))

Of course some of the tip cards are umm.. can't think of a word:

Fusion Summon Only
Side 1: "Dark Paladin states that it can only be Special Summoned by a fusion summon.
Side 2:This means that you cannot use cards such as "Metamorphosis" to special summon it.

There were other really short tip cards like that too. What a waste of a card.:(
 
What???? No Needle Worm?? Man, you bought a box and didnt get any of the TP Cards. That means they are REALLY going to be hard to get!!!!! :(

You're confusing Dark Revelations with Dark Beginnings 2, which is slated to be released in the fall. Dark Revelations only has reprints of PGD, MFC, and DCR cards.

Im a big advocate of Spell Shield Type-8. It has duel effects. Discard a Spell Card to negate the effect and destroy ANY Spell Card, except for the occasional indestructible ones.

And negate the effect of a Spell Card that Targets a monster on the field, with no discard.

Its Spell Speed 3, so there isnt much that can stop it.

Magic Jammer (same spell speed) must discard everytime, but the luxury is it can be any card in hand.
 
To buy the complete set of Commons individually would cost almost as much as a box would.

What i got for the ultra rares did "hurt," but overall i think it breaks even financially.
 
I bought my first pack today from Wal-Mart and managed to get a Rope of Life which is now only a rare. Also of note was a Gravekeeper's Watcher which is now just a common. With the structure decks making Zombie and Dragon decks veritable cookie cutters, could this new set of re-releases be leading to the rampant run of Gravekeeper's decks? (eerie music plays in background)... time shall soon tell.

DaGuyWitBlueGlasses... if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your box and how much was it?

Are these packs like every Dark Beginnings ones I've seen so far, where even if you get a Super or Ultra rare, you also always get a normal Rare with it?

Nowhere around here has any yet, but I'm not really too interested in getting anything from this set, except for some reprinted Amazoness Fighters.
 
Sounds like a song.... "The super comes with a normal rare, but the ultra stands alone." lol
