Parallel Effect? (Ultra Rare or ... ?)

I've not seen a Parallel effect card to my knowledge yet.

I've read that they have horizontal and veritial lines on the graphic portion.

I have a Question card that is ultra rare that has lines going across the graphic in two directions but instead of horizontal and vertical they're rotated 45 degrees from horizontal. Would that be a Parallel effect?

Sounds like you have a misprint Question card (since it sounds like it has a Secret Rare printing to it).

Parallel Rare cards have an extra layer on the card which gives it it's glossy finish with the parallel lines of rainbow sparkle (for lack of a better description). The underlying card though can be of any rarity. The Parallel Hobby League cards are Ultras while the Parallel Mattel Promo cards (that came with the toys) like Cyber End Dragon or Elemental Hero Thunder Giant are in fact Commons beneath the gloss.
