PHOENIX vs Delinquent duo

Hello, I have one question. If your opponent activates delinquent duo and he chooses jinzo and I choose sacred phoenix... Does the phoenix returns to the field in my next standby phase or not? Thanks...

Afraid not. Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys has to be destroyed by a card effect. Delinquent Duo only discards cards.

Discard does not equal destroy.

I think they were more talking about reiterating it in a thread on this site so that people wouldn't post questions that have already been repeatedly asked.

Though even as a sticky I suspect many would ignore it and just try for the lazy way of posting and waiting for a reply. Think of how many times people ask for info they know is in the card registry just because they can't be bothered to make the effort to look for it.
