Sleep, A PSA

I'm not much for public service type things, but I fealt I had to say something, espeically since I know alot of you own a small business and that means lots of hours on top of everything else.
Guys and girls, please, don't take on me work then you can handle, or you could end up in a situation like me. I've got about 16 hours of college classes, about 32 hours of work, plus time with my girlfriend/friends, etc. Which if that doesn't sound. Typically, I only get about 6 maybe 7 hours of sleep. Yeah, I was tired, yeah I fealt a bit sick, but I thought I could keep pushing myself, which led to the next event in my downfall, blackouts/loss of memory.
Today, I was driving to work, and was about half a block from a red light, so I stopped about 6 or 7 feet behind the guy in front of me. I remember stopping, and then the next thing I remember is my car accelerating and hitting his car. I can't even remember hitting the gas or anything.
So of course, the cops got called in, and an accident report was taken. But let me tell you, I got lucky. His car just had a few scratches, my front liscense plate was bent, and that's it. But I wasn't worried about the cars, he had his 4 year old daughter in the seat behind him. Once again, I got lucky there, since she was in a booster seat, she was a little scared but by the time we left, she was fine, and both me and the driver were fine too.
But, like I said, it was just luck, and nothing else. The girl could have gotten hurt, or I could have been doing 45 on the freeway when this happened. but I was lucky enought that all that happened was a minor fender-bender, and that the worst that happened was I got a bent plate, my insurance is gonna go up and I got a $75 dollar ticket.
Please people, don't keep pushing yourself like I did, you think you can deal with being a little more tired, maybe feel a little run down, but this was the first time I ever blacked out, and hopefully, the last. As of today, I've made an appointment with my doctor, and I'm going into work and telling them to cut my hours.
Now don't get me wrong, this isn't a pity thread, it's more a public service thread. As cliche as it seems, I never thought that it would be me, but guess what? It was.
Seriousally people, I thought I could fight sleep with monster and mountain dew, etc, but the truth is, you can't. Don't end up like me, or worse. Get some sleep, take time off if you need to. It's not worth getting yourself or someone else hurt or killed over.
