I don't know about you but I think it would be nice if ude would help with prizes that only ude tournaments can offer players. I have been for some time randomly awarding cards, and here lately judging at sneak peaks so I can bring those products to my ude event. The reason I feel I should bring this up is that players feel that since only stores dealing with ude is allowed to buy from them directly they cannot take part in champion packs and hobby league product. I do know I am in the process of working with Bandai that makes Naruto and other games and they offer prize support for those events. They consider T/O's as voluteers and they send product to location of event. I live in an area where card shops belly up and the nearest privately owned shop is 80 miles away. I am soon to be teaming up with Kaybee Toys in the mall and they buy product from Legends a thrid party supplier to stock their selves. I do know that ude should know that keeping their games alive isn't easy and we are helping with people buying their products. We buy our own product and not knowing how many people will show to our event, and this is where we make or lose money. I don't know about you, but you go to an event you are not promised to win anything. In the eyes of little kids that come to play it is hard for parents to get them to play moreless that not be awarded a prize for attendance. I have been awarding ude pins to all players but this gets boring and other ideas of prizes cost to much. UDE makes the product and there is tax write offs that they could do for this. Just something to think about.
