Pole Position Vs. Snatch Steal

heres an scenrio:

I have a face down Pole Position ,and 1 monster (no other monsters on the field)

my opp. actives Snatch on my monsters, I chain w/Pole

What happpens to snatch?does it go to the graveyard? does it remain on the field?If it remains on the field, do i get 1000 LP every Stand phase?

what if the monster gets set face down? does Snatch destroy itself then?

Nothing happens to Snatch or to your monster. Snatch equips to your monster, but since the monter is unaffected due to Pole Position, it does not swith sides. Snatch Steal remains on the fied meaninglessly.

Regardless of Pole Position, if the equiped monster where to be turned face-down Snatch Steal would be destroyed by game mechanics, as a face-down monster cannot be equipped by Equip Cards.

EDIT: You would continue to gain the 1000 Life Points though. Snatch Steal is not affecting the monster, but it is still active and equipped.

What if my opp. summons an Higher atk monster?
Does my monster switch sides then?
can the equip card "reactivate" itself?(the 1st effect)

It doesn't "reactivate" in that sense, since it was never negated, only the monster it was trying to affect was immune to it. If your opponent or you summon something with a higher ATK or modify the ATK of another monster on the field then Snatch Steal will begin affecting the monster again and it will switch sides. If anything happens on the field that makes it to where the equipped monster is no longer the one with the highest ATK, then Pole Position will stop affecting it and Snatch Steal will pull it in.

Also note that this would also work in reverse. If for some reason the equipped monster bocomes the one with the highest ATK again, then Ple Position will begin making it immune to spells again. It would remain equipped with Snatch Steal, but it would switch sides.
