question about sandman

ok i just got sandman and i have one question on him. the card states that when Sandman comes into play, put six +1 ATK / +1 DEF counters on him. Whenever Sandman becomes stunned, remove all counters from him. does this mean that sandman would become 14atk/14def????

As long as the counters are on him... yes...
So he's a huge 6-drop.

the problem is, if he becomes stunned he's way down the curve with his 8 // 8...

If you don't control the initiative, he's only good for taking out the opponents attacker tryin' to put him down...
the next round he's almost useless with 8 // 8.
