Question about SIlent Swordman Lv5

What will happen if I use this monster to attack directly and I don't have Silent Swordsman LV7 in my deck or hand? Does Lv. 5 have to be send to the graveyard due to his effect?

Also, what will happen if the opponent use Dark Hole on my lv 5. Will it still alive due to its effect?

It should be noted that if you do in fact attack directly with LV5 you can still tribute away your LV5 if you wish. It becomes your opponent's choice to either take your word for it that you have no LV7 in your deck or he/she is allowed to check your deck to ensure there is no LV7 in it.

Remember, LV monsters have ignition effects. By definition, they are optional.
